Hey Guys! I’m excited for Sunday! It’s our first ever open mic night in The Gathering and this is your opportunity to give thanks and glory to God using whatever artistic expression you choose! This is not a talent show! Our one and only purpose is to give glory to God. You can share a testimony, preach a 5 minute message, sing a song, read a poem, dance, share a video, paint, sculpt, play an instrument, it really doesn’t matter, as long as it gives glory to God. Did I mention it needs to give glory to God? Just in case I forgot, it needs to give glory to God…
I hope you can make it, and even if you don’t share, that’s fine, you can celebrate with others as they… you guessed it, give glory to God. It starts at 6:30 PM in the Young Adult room at Suncoast Cathedral. See ya soon!
Hey guys, just a reminder concerning this Sunday night: We will be sharing a meal together! There will be a time of worship and a short devotion, then it’s all food and fellowship from there. We will also be discussing our part in the upcoming “Odyssey” Outreach here at the church. We have a big role to play so we’re going to need lots of help! That’s this Sunday, October 2.
Also, don’t forget that October 6 is fellowship night at our (Mat & Jen’s house). We ask that you bring either a snack or drink to share.

September 18th – Packaging meals for the hungry in Africa… our goal is to package 10k meals in 2 hours! Starts at 6 PM…
September 24th – Garage Sale Fundraiser for Young Adult band – looking for donations and shoppers!
September 25th – Gathering Game Night at SPCS Gym, 6:30 PM
October 2nd – Gathering Family Meal, The Odyssey Planning Meeting, 6:30 PM

Hey Guys! I’m excited to announce next Sunday, July 24, comedian Jonnie Wethington will be joining us in The Gathering! Not only is he hilarious, but he’s also a college pastor in Tennessee. So you’ll laugh, but you will also be challenged with the word of God. I hope you can make it, I hope you can bring a friend… it’s going to be awesome!
Don’t forget guys, next Tuesday night, July 19, we are meeting at Airheads in Tampa at 7 PM. The cost is $10 at the door. The Upper Room Experience is not about recreating Pentecost. It’s about striving to reproduce the fallout of Pentecost in our own lives. 3000 people were saved, a community of believers came together with such unity that not one person among them went without. A world was literally changed and turned upside down. It’s a lot to ask, but that’s my prayer for this Sunday. That our lives our so radically touched and changed that we cannot do anything other than change our world for Christ! I hope to see you Sunday night at The Gathering…
